Polyphonic is a streaming platform built to disrupt the mainstream by centering on the underground and the emerging artist. Steeped in the defiant tradition of DIY rock-and-roll culture, the brand identity rejects the polished, sterile aesthetic of typical tech giants. To capture this raw energy, I developed a visual system rooted in tactile imperfection—utilizing distorted, photocopied imagery and hand-drawn typography. The result is a brand that feels less like an app and more like a fanzine, honoring the grit and authenticity of the musicians it hosts.
